— Physiotherapy practices

A physio practice
always spotless.

In a physiotherapy practice, patients come and go all day long. Between appointments, the treatment room floor picks up dust and hair, and the waiting room never stops being used. A central vacuum lets you clean fast and discreetly, with no noisy vacuum and no back-and-forth in front of patients. The motor sits in a utility room: zero noise during rehabilitation.

— A physio's daily reality

Cleaning between patients,
without a thought.

A steady flow of patients, treatment tables, hair and dust on the floor, a busy waiting room: a physio practice must stay visibly clean all day. A standard vacuum is loud, awkward between the tables, and blows fine-dust-laden air back into the treatment room.

With a central vacuum, a simple wall inlet picks up dust and hair in seconds, between two patients. The vacuumed air is discharged away from the areas patients use, which limits the resuspension of fine dust: it is never blown back into your treatment room or waiting room, but discharged where the central unit sits — a utility room, a ventilated crawl space or outside, depending on the installation. The remote motor keeps the practice silent during rehabilitation. The hose type — retractable or traditional — is determined on site depending on use: discover our retractable hoses.

— Fitting out your practice?

The right moment
is now.

If you are building, renovating or reorganising your practice, now is the ideal time to integrate a central vacuum: ducts run through partitions and floors before the finishes.

AspiWall studies your plan, sizes the central unit to the surface and places inlets near each treatment room and the waiting room. Discover our approach for professional buildings.

PLAN FROM THE START

An inlet per room

  • A vacuum inlet in each treatment room
  • Utility room for the central unit (storeroom, cellar, closet)
  • Ducts built into partitions before painting
  • A handy inlet at reception and in the waiting room
— Standard vacuum vs central vacuum

Where does
the air go?

A standard vacuum, a robot or a stick vacuum filters part of the dust but blows the air back into the room where it runs. With an AspiWall central vacuum, the dirt is sent to the central unit and the vacuumed air is expelled out of the living areas or out of the occupied zones, which limits the re-suspension of fine dust. That is what makes the difference in buildings open to the public and places sensitive to dust.

— Made by Trovac

A benchmark for
air quality.

AspiWall offers central units in Belgium made by Trovac, among other manufacturers. Trovac's central vacuum system has been distinguished by AFPRAL (the French Association for Allergy Prevention) since July 2014. An important reference for buildings where air quality, dust, dust mites and allergens are sensitive matters.

— Questions fréquentes

Yes. A steady flow of patients quickly soils the floor (hair, dust): a wall inlet lets you clean a treatment room in seconds between two appointments, without taking out a vacuum. It is fast, silent and discreet.

No. The vacuumed air is discharged away from the areas patients use, which limits the resuspension of fine dust. It is never blown back into the treatment room or waiting room: it is discharged where the central unit sits — a utility room, a ventilated crawl space or outside, depending on the installation.

No. The central unit's motor is installed in a separate utility room. In the treatment room you only hear a light suction sound, far quieter than a canister vacuum starting up next to the patient.

By default, the central unit is designed for dry vacuuming (dust, hair), ideal for daily cleaning. On request, AspiWall also offers wet & dry systems (water and dust), with a tank to empty or automatic drainage, useful around sinks and water points.

Yes, installation is possible in an existing practice. Contact AspiWall to assess feasibility based on your premises.
