Paper dust,
vacuumed silently.
In a printing shop or graphic arts studio, paper leaves its fine dust everywhere, and the guillotine piles up offcuts and trimmings. A central vacuum cleans the workshop continuously, without a noisy vacuum. Note: this is cleaning of the premises, not a dust collector connected to the machines at source.
Paper dust,
everywhere.
Fine paper dust, finishing offcuts and trimmings, debris around the guillotine: a printing shop or a screen-printing and reprographics workshop is cleaned constantly. A standard vacuum is loud, clogs quickly and blows fine dust back into the workshop.
A central vacuum picks up paper dust and small offcuts via a wall inlet or a floor sweep door, and sends them to a central unit placed away. The vacuumed air is never blown back into the workshop or the workstation area: it is discharged where the central unit sits — a utility room, a ventilated crawl space or outside, depending on the installation. Important: this is a cleaning system for the premises, not a dust collector connected to each machine at source. The hose type — retractable or traditional — is determined on site depending on use: discover our retractable hoses.

The right moment
is now.
Building, relocating or reorganising your printing shop: this is the time to integrate a central vacuum, before the finishes, for inlets well placed near the guillotine, the presses and the finishing stations.
AspiWall studies your workshop plan, sizes the central unit to the surface and the volume of paper dust, and places the inlets at key points. An approach that applies to all professional buildings.
Near the workstations
- → Inlets near the guillotine and finishing stations
- → Utility room for the central unit, kept away
- → Ducts built in before the finishes
- → Floor sweep door for quick offcut pickup
No. A central vacuum is for cleaning the premises: paper dust on the floor, offcuts and trimmings, debris around the guillotine. It is not a dust collector connected to each press or machine at source. For source capture on a machine, dedicated equipment is still required.
Yes. A central vacuum has a large-capacity tank, far better suited to the volume of paper dust and small offcuts of a printing shop than a domestic vacuum. AspiWall sizes the central unit and the filter to your activity.
No. The central unit's motor is installed in a separate utility room. At the workstation you only hear a light suction sound, far quieter than a canister vacuum.
By default, the central unit is designed for dry vacuuming (paper dust, offcuts, debris). On request, AspiWall also offers wet & dry systems (water and dust), with a tank to empty or automatic drainage. For inks and solvents, always check compatibility with AspiWall before any use.
Yes, installation is possible in an existing workshop. Contact AspiWall to assess feasibility based on your premises.
