PVC network · rules & planning

A network designed
before it's installed.

The PVC layout follows a few simple rules. AspiWall applies them for you on the plan when quoting — here they are, so you understand what your configuration actually means inside the walls.

Common rules

The whole PVC network

  • Right-angle runs (90° bends), as direct as possible, with no backtracking.
  • No pipe ever crosses another: each inlet takes the least costly route without crossing the network already laid.
  • Two pipes running alongside each other stay parallel, offset by about 0.5 m — never merged.
  • The power unit stays movable: the whole network is recalculated if you relocate it.
Retractable hoses

Retractable inlets

  • Each trunk first reserves the hose length + 2 m of safety margin: no branch on this segment, the hose travels through it.
  • The trunk reaches the power unit with at least 1 m of free PVC after this reserve.
  • Among the valid routes, we keep the shortest (less PVC), then the one with the fewest bends.
  • A retractable trunk can only be connected to after its reserve, never in the zone where the hose passes.
Traditional inlets

Classic wall inlets

  • Each inlet connects to the nearest point: the power unit, a retractable trunk (only on its connectable portion) or the line of another traditional inlet.
  • Never a junction or a run through the reserved zone of a retractable hose.
  • The 9 m portable hose covers a radius of about 9 m around each inlet: inlets are spread out to cover the whole house.

Indicative estimate: the final layout, the metres of PVC and the number of fittings are validated or adjusted by AspiWall on your plan, at the quote stage.
