The guided DIY kit is the choice of the vast majority of AspiWall customers. Professional equipment, plan-based advice, technical support and optional post-installation check: you remain in control of your project.

— The AspiWall concept

AspiWall,
your partner
kit & advice.

AspiWall is not just an installation company. AspiWall is above all a technical partner to make central vacuum accessible in kit form, with the right equipment, the right advice and the possibility of a professional check.

The goal is simple: let you install yourself, without being alone. AspiWall helps you choose the right components, understand the network, position the suction points and avoid classic mistakes. Installing your own AspiWall network also means preparing a healthier home in the long term: less noise in living areas, less dust re-suspended, and a vacuum designed for daily comfort.

— When to plan the central vacuum system

The right time,
the right order.

01

New construction

The best time to integrate a central vacuum system is on the bare slab, before the other trades. The PVC network can be laid cleanly. The other services (heating, plumbing, electrical) can then pass over the pipes, without crushing them.

02

Major renovation

In renovation, the ideal is to plan the PVC network when the screeds are still open, before other services. In some cases, the network can also run under the ceiling of a basement or garage.

03

Light renovation

Even on an existing home, solutions exist. The network can pass through the loft, suspended ceilings or service ducts. AspiWall studies feasibility from your plans and proposes the best routing.

Important tip: The PVC network is ideally laid before heating, plumbing and electrical work. The other trades can then continue working over the pipes, as long as they are not crushed. This point is crucial to anticipate from the planning phase.

— Retractable hoses & DIY

R-Flex & Retraflex
in guided DIY.

The R-Flex and Retraflex retractable hoses require careful network preparation, but they integrate very well into a guided DIY project.

AspiWall helps you understand where to position the wall boxes, how to plan the lengths and how to organise the PVC network that serves as the hose sheath. With the right plan-based advice, integrating a retractable hose into new construction or major renovation is perfectly accessible as a DIY project.

— Questions fréquentes

Installation requires planning, but it is not reserved for professionals. With the right components, clear instructions and a coherent plan, many customers complete their own installation. Basic DIY skills are useful (drilling walls, fixing PVC pipes). The PVC network is assembled with adhesive, no soldering required. AspiWall guides you on the routing and technical steps.

AspiWall carries out a plan-based study (optimal routing, central unit sizing), provides the appropriate equipment and provides technical assistance during installation. You receive professional equipment, clear explanations and the support of a specialist. You save on labour while benefiting from professional expertise.

The vast majority of AspiWall customers choose the kit with support and install themselves. AspiWall provides the equipment, explanations and advice, then the customer installs — with or without a technical check-up afterwards. This is not random DIY: each project is studied and the customer receives the right components and advice.

The best time is often before the other services, on a bare slab. The PVC network can be laid cleanly, then the other trades (heating, plumbing, electrical) can continue their work on top of the pipes, without crushing them. In major renovation, the ideal is to plan the network while the screeds are still open.

Yes. AspiWall can intervene for the final commissioning: network leak test, testing of all inlets and validation of the entire system. See the indicative pricing for check and assistance packages.

Yes, and it is particularly interesting. The R-Flex and Retraflex retractable hoses require careful network preparation, but they integrate very well into a guided DIY project. AspiWall helps you understand where to position the wall boxes, how to plan the lengths and how to organise the PVC network that serves as the hose sheath.

Yes. Full installation by AspiWall remains possible depending on the project and availability. But the majority of customers today choose the guided kit: a more flexible, more economical solution that is perfectly suited to well-prepared new builds and renovations.
