AspiWall units: warranty over 10 years

You are building

The best time for a central vacuum is while the work is going on

In a new build as much as in a renovation, the ducting runs through the walls and floor slabs while everything is still open. That is the simplest and most affordable moment — the shell is right there, nothing to break open and nothing to redo. And if your house is already finished, nothing is lost: we run it through suspended ceilings, the garage, the cellar, service ducts or the loft. We fit it either way. The only difference is the route.

Your build schedule

The right time
is while everything is open.

STAGE 01

On the drawings

We position the power unit and the inlets with your architect. No design surcharge.

STAGE 02

Shell or renovation

Ducting runs through the walls and slabs while everything is open. The ideal moment: nothing to break open, nothing to redo.

STAGE 03

Plastering, screeds

The ducts disappear into the structure. Nothing shows any more.

STAGE 04

Finishing

Fitting the power unit and the inlets, airtightness test, commissioning.

AspiWall is with you at every stage: see how an installation by AspiWall works, or how to fit it yourself with our guidance on the drawings.

Day to day

What changes
once you live there.

  • No more vacuum cleaner to carry up the stairs, or to store in a cupboard. The machine sits in the garage or the cellar, and stays there.
  • No dust blown back into the room. The extracted air travels to the power unit instead of returning into the house.
  • The retractable hose stows away inside the pipework. You pull out the length you need, you clean, you let go — the central unit draws it back into the wall. Nothing to get out, nothing to store.
  • Silence in the room being cleaned, because the motor is not in it.
  • A selling point on resale, in the same way as balanced ventilation or underfloor heating.

What it costs

The prices, plainly.

All prices exclude VAT. The applicable VAT rate is determined on the quote, according to the nature of the works. Equipment and installation are priced separately: you can fit it yourself, or leave all or part of the work to us.

Frequently asked questions

Your questions. Our answers.

My house is already finished. Is it still possible?

Yes, absolutely. It is even a good part of what we do. We then run the network through suspended ceilings, the garage, the cellar, service ducts, the loft or a ventilated crawl space. The route is different, the result is the same. We come out and tell you what is possible in your home.

Does it need a dedicated room?

The power unit goes in the garage, the cellar or a utility room. It needs a power supply and an air outlet. That is what we define together on the drawings.

How many inlets for a house?

As a rule, one well-placed retractable hose per floor is enough. A second one on the ground floor is sometimes added, for comfort. The exact number depends on the floor area and the layout: we determine it on the drawings or on site, not over the phone.

Does it work in an older house?

Yes. We fit them regularly. The age of the house is not the issue — what matters is finding a route for the ducting, and there is almost always one.

What if I change my mind mid-build?

As long as the walls are open, it is the simplest and the cheapest. After that we adapt the route — it is still doable, it just takes a little more work. Better to talk about it early, but nothing is ever closed for good.

Existing home

And if your house
is already finished?

Nothing is lost. A central vacuum can be fitted in a finished house too, and it is a good part of our work. The network then takes other routes: suspended ceilings, garage, cellar, service ducts, loft, a ventilated crawl space, or a neatly boxed-in drop along a wall.

What changes: the route, and a little more fitting time. What does not change: the result, the comfort and the warranty. We come out, look at the layout, and tell you straight what can be done in your home and at what price.

Let's talk, whatever stage your project is at.

Send us your drawings, or simply tell us how your house is built. We will tell you where to put the power unit and the inlets, and what it costs.
