Hygiene with
no compromise.

In a hospital, a medical centre or a clinic, cleanliness is not a comfort: it is a matter of health. A central vacuum cleans rooms, corridors and waiting areas continuously, without blowing dust-laden air back into care areas — an asset in the fight against healthcare-associated infections. The remote motor stays silent for patient rest.

— The demands of a hospital

Clean everywhere,
put nothing back in the air.

Patient rooms, corridors, operating areas, waiting rooms: a care facility is cleaned around the clock, day and night. A standard vacuum stirs up and blows fine-dust-laden air back into the room — exactly what must be avoided in a hospital setting.

With a central vacuum, a simple wall inlet picks up dust and dry debris, and the vacuumed air is never blown back into patient rooms or care areas: it is discharged where the central unit sits — a utility room, a ventilated crawl space or outside, depending on the installation. In a hospital setting, discharge to the outside is in fact often recommended, or even required. The remote motor keeps the units silent for patient rest. The hose type — retractable or traditional — is determined on site depending on the use of each area: discover our retractable hoses.

HOSPITAL BENEFITS

Built for
care settings

  • Vacuumed air never blown back into patient rooms or care areas
  • An asset against the recirculation of dust and allergens
  • Large areas (rooms, corridors, operating zones) cleaned continuously
  • Remote motor: silence for patient rest
  • A building-integrated solution, no bulky vacuum in the corridors
— Building or renovating?

Integrate it
into the building.

Building a new wing, renovating a department, extending a hospital: this is the time to integrate a central vacuum, before finishes, as part of a durable cleanliness strategy.

AspiWall studies the plans, sizes the central unit(s) to the surfaces and levels, and places inlets as close as possible to the areas to be cleaned. The duct network stays invisible, built into the building. An approach designed for professional buildings.

PLAN FROM THE START

Rooms, corridors, operating zones

  • Inlets spread across patient rooms, corridors and waiting areas
  • Utility room for the central unit, air discharged outside if required
  • Ducts built into partitions before finishes
  • Sizing based on surfaces, levels and departments

No. The AspiWall central vacuum is used only for cleaning premises (dust, dry debris). It in no way replaces medical suction devices (surgical or bronchial suction), which are separate, regulated equipment. For cleaning, the system vacuums dry by default; on request, AspiWall also offers wet & dry systems (water and dust), with a tank to empty or automatic drainage.

The vacuumed air is never blown back into patient rooms or care areas: it is discharged where the central unit sits — a utility room, a ventilated crawl space or outside, depending on the installation. In a hospital setting, discharge to the outside is often recommended, or even required depending on the facility's requirements.

A central vacuum avoids putting fine dust and allergens back into circulation in the room, unlike a standard vacuum that blows them out. It is an asset for the hygiene of premises, complementing the facility's own disinfection protocols.

No. The central unit's motor is installed in a separate utility room, away from patient rooms. At the inlet you only hear a light suction sound, far quieter than a canister vacuum — a real plus for patient rest, including at night.

The hose type — retractable or traditional — is determined on site depending on the use of each area, and one or more suitably sized central units serve the whole building. Contact AspiWall for a study from plans or on site.
